Not trying to tell you what to do, but that's a big mistake, learn it by using it long before you hunt with it in the dark.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I've tried the stand out on the tree in the my yard a few times just not in the woods and not for long periods of time. I look forward to the upgrade compared to the stand I used for 6 years prior.
