I've seen them, I would.

I leave my stand hung inthewoods and paint it to blend (weeks). I just keep looking at it from a distance at different times and ad what I think works. When I'm in town and near some paint I get a can of this or that. As far as I can tell dark colors esp. black doesn't work well for me. I personaly dislike a lot all the black on a lone wolf. The first time I saw it hanging in Cabela's I was shocked, it stuck out more than any other stand there.

It's entertaining, fun and educational. I can't see how doing it is troubling.

By the by. I made a picture frame for the wife and used one of the paints for the color, a sage green since the pic contained it. It's beautiful!
