need to be able to tell the difference. Can be hard when no other deer are around....but there are clues to look for...
goto QDMA they have a poster they sell showing the differences...
if you want to manage your deer herd, you need to be able to tell the difference.
mature does look big IMO, and a mature buck, you know. So just don't shoot small deer.
but there are many other clues to identify....head shape.....body shape....etc..etc...
