For the most part I avoid it. A couple times way back with a gun I've shot them accidently cause I didn't REALLY check, just gave a half hearted glance. I did knowingly shoot one because I wasn't in my normal spot & the landowner really wanted the deer killed, & cause I don;t hunt there too often I hadn't killed any in a while so I drilled it.
