If a Doe is bread in mid Nov she will give birth somewhere in the first week of June (201 day gestation period). By the day it was concived in mid Nov a fawn will be almost 5 1/2 months old and weigh about a whopping 40 lbs dressed (seen them as light as 32 lbs at the end of Nov).
So lets cut off the legs above the knees, skin it, cut the head off and debone the meat.
In reality you have about enough to feed a family of 5, BBQ sandwiches for 2 days, if your lucky.
Awesome! And when it's said and done.....you've saved that family enough $$in meals to pay for your tagsfor the season (were you hunting NC) AND you've taken another breeder out of the herd!
