Welcome to montana sek. I'm originally from fla. and nc and go down there every year and bass and surf fish along with doing the family thing. The state record bass here in mt. is about 8 lbs and I know this lake that is holding about an 11 pounder that a friend of mine caught and turned it loose cause it was spawning. The missiouri river holds some bass along with some walleye and catfish and seagars. When I go back hunting in the Breaks I camp out along the Missiouri riv and take a couple rods and rig one with bait and I use another with a lure. Good luck.
