If one inadvertently cuts one strand of a new string, must it be replaced??
Yes.

The string altho you see seperate strands is actually one long strand looped around to make up the individual strands that you see.
? not sure what that means.
I've been told by my pro shop, and a string maker both. If your sure its only 1 single strand you should be ok. Any more than 1 cut, must replace it. But personally ifdon't have to risk it I wouldn't!!
