Default RE: What's wrong with this POV?

ORIGINAL: mobow

I got in on this one late obviously, and I've read the first 3 pages.....I apologize if this has been covered already.

But....is it necessary for a heavy arrow to have the same speed as the light arrow for it to have more momentum?
Absolutely not

I was shooting a 355 grain arrow, last year, at 318 fps. This year I'm shooting a 480 grain arrow 280fps.....that's nearly a 40 fps difference, and the heavy arrow carries both more KE and momentum.

Correct me if I'm wrong, and I may very well be....But unless the heavy arrow is flying just painfully slow......It's gonna beat out the light arrow every time.
Absolutely true!! Gary, GARY!!! they have seen the light!!!
