Honestly, if you aren't hunting in places like Alaska and the NW coast up to Alaska where the TRINYTE coating would actually benefit you then I would put the extra money ($250 - $300)that the XCR costs into the scope, ammo, etc... and get the SPS stainless. The XCR and the SPS use the same stock except for the rubber grips.
