I'd be surprised if either rifle could not group loads it liked into an 3/4"-1" at 100 yards...it'd probably take a comparison of 100 rifles of each model, fired by experts over the course of 2 weeks, to clearly discern an accuracy winner, and even then the results would probably be .78" compared to .82", etc...

Good luck whichever way ya decide to go....

One advantage the Browning has is the availability of the BOSS, with suitable hearing protection of course...(I've fired a BOSS equipped .300 WinMag that felt no different than my Boss-less .270 Win from a bench...) You might also still see a few 2000-era (still new) BOSS equipped Model 70's in the stores.
