Default Tribute Back/Reflection on Life

Well after much regret over the past year the Tribby is back at he Buck Ranch. I traded my 06 Tribute for the Guardian last spring and was wishing I had kept it for the longest time. Don't get me wrong I love my Guardian with the MeanV supressor and whiskers it is the quietest bow I have ever NOT heard! My only issue with it is I am not as consistent with it as I was with my Tribute. I could shoot 299-290 every weekend at the 3d range from the hunter stake. My Guardian ranges from 277-285. I love the improved two piece grip on the 07 Tribute and its super smooth draw.

I did harvest two nice mature deer last year with the Guardianand they never even knew I was on the planet. I love the stealth of that Guardian.

I took my Guardian to the shop for some minor repairs and right there in front of me a nice 2007 Used Tribute! Well they started at $550 and I made it down to $425out the doorfor the bare bow. Needless to say the arrows were flying tonight when I got home.

I wil be contacting MeanV for for supressor but I am torn on what sights and rest to put on it. They let me try out the Trophy Ridge 3 pin vertical sight and a Trap door rest. It is strange switching from a convential sight to the vertical but I think I like it. The rest not so much. I forgot to cock it up once.......lost arrow! I have the Trophy ridge dropzone on my guardian and love it, quiet and reliable. Anybody have some good suggetions on sights and rest? Any additionaltips and tricks for the 2007 Tribute is appreciated.

The setup is 28.5 draw with smooth mods set at approx 60-62lb. I shoot GT 5575 with 100gr heads.Dloop.

As i was typing this post I began to think about how excited I was to get a new Bowthen I started thinkingjust how much my Family means to me thus the below paragraph.......

I know that not everybody can have two bows and I realize that the Good Lord has blessed us and I amthankful to Him not only for that but all the other countless blessings He has given us......all of this can be gone in a twinkling of an eye but my Lord has promised us eternity in Heaven. I guess I am looking at life a little diferent now. I lost one of my best friends a few months back to Cancer at age 34. His 4 year old daughterhas been at our house the last two nights playing with our 4 year olddaughter. I am ofetn guilty of stressing on the worries of the world and not appreciatingeach day and the time with my family.I am not sure where I am going with this but I hope that we all can just slow down and put away the worries of the world and store up treasures in Heaven by spending time with our loved ones.

Thanks for Listening and Thanks for the Tips!
