RE: The BGW is COMPLETE!!
Cool!
When you do DIY remote/away from home hunts having the right equipment and a useable way to store and transport is critical. Taking your own shade when it is hot and there isn't any shade is just critical to comfort. The thin air western sun can really bake you and wear you down.
I see propane, water storageand room for coolers too.... all keys to an effective camp/road trip outfit. Looks like a nice unit.
I use a 6'W by 14'L by 7'H walk ing tandem axle, ramp door, cargo trailer with a customized interior for elk hunting and yes, it does have room for the kitchen sink and mucho stuff. For the vast majority, when it comes to DIY remote/away from home hunts.... no equipment.... no hunt.... just a drive in the countryside and an early departure back to the comforts of home.
I don't mind the fly weight spike camps and the just get by approach for short spells, but somewhere reasonably closeI want a base camp for longevity if I need it plus it is handy for butchering.
Iron men can get by with less for sure, but most who call themselves iron men.... just aren't.
