I have ate the heart and liver before and although i thought it was ok i must admit i usually am guilty of leaving it behind. I hunt in otsego county ny, not too far from where they found some wild and captive deer with CWD in oneida county. I heard that in areas where there could be CWD to not eat internal organs. I'm sure all the deer i have shot have been fine, but i'm just a little paranoid i guess haha
