BUT- this issue with the General is real and apparently is injuring people, and the best response Bowtech has is "a recall would be too large?" WTF!!!
Did Bowtech actually tell you "a recall would be too large"? Any manufacturer would do exactly the same thingby not issuing a recallwith the small number of real problems that they are having. If you were the manufacturer and have sold thousand and thousands of your product and .02% of them were having failures where
someone was slightly injured would you issue a recall that would cost you millions?
All manufacturers have an acceptable percentage of failures with any of their products. That's just the way it is.
From what I understand therehave been aproximately 15,000 generals produced and sold and how manygeneral failureslike this have there actually been?
seems to me two broken fingers and a broken arm isn't exactly ~slightly~ injured... cut and a couple a stitches, ok, i'd call that slight... broken bones?? not so slight... given that this story is true of course...
