I have owned STS's and MeanV CSS's and after putting them on many different bows I have come to the conclusion that it all depends on the bow. On my old SQ2 it made a world of difference, on my Drenalin last year it made a slight difference. On my Drenalin LD this year I took it off and sold it because it actually made my bow louder.
