Not a gadget...They work! I would steer clear of the V- Shaped ones. Like the ones that come std on Bowtechs. These tend to slap and rotate the string and you'll have problems with peep alignment.As alot of guy's know ......the more item's you put on a string.....the slower your arrow speed will be.I to have ditched the string silencers in favor of the STS.
