Seems to me that early season/unpressured and sometimes ruttingbucks do not always circle downwind.
Every MATURE buck I have seen 3 1/2 and older always circled downwind from my stand. The yearlings walk where ever.
Then maybe you smell.[8D]
LOL...I might, but I think its because I use a decoy.
