First off a 1:28" twist is about the best all around twist for most any bullet out there .
it really depends on your hunting aplication ( terain - closest & farthest shot- All lead bullet or Jacketed bullet )
all but 1 of my rifles are a 1:28" and I find that all of them as far as a saboted bullet goes like the Harvester Green Crush Rib Sabot with a Hornady .430 300gr XTP with 90gr of 2fg 777 and you will find that most all guns shoot the 250gr & 300gr SST & Shockwaves with super Accuracy with their supplyed sabots. with 90gr to 120gr of powder.

But to be totally honest with you and we all have had to do it you are just going to have to bite the bullet and buy several differant bullets that you like and see witch one shoots the best . ONLY your gun will tell you what Bullet / Sabot / Powder charge it likes the best.
