RE: How many have seen a piebald?
Not sure if the spike I saw was a piebald because it didnt have any white on it but it was really short and stocky. I was sitting in my stand and watched it walk past. I was so taken by the way it looked and couldnt figure out exactly what was wrong. Its antlers almost crossed and it had little what looked like to me "cowlicks" in its hair. Like it grew in little swirl patterns all the way along its spine on either side. It worked a little tree behind me and I sat and just stared . When it was done it walked off . I havent heard of any of thelocals saying anything so Im hoping to see him again this season. I also just put my trail cam out in the same area so maybe post a pick if it comes through and you guys can help me tell if its actually a piebald.
