RE: General limbs blew today!
Well, his very first post at HNIwas telling us how he pressed it in a portable press that wasn't working right, nor was it the correct press to useand he was hearing strange noises. I carry and sell 6 different bow lines and I would be just as skeptical about a Mathews, Hoyt, or any other bow if it played out like this one did.
No one said that it didn't happen but it seems very coincidental that every time this happens it is a new person that has never posted before, doesn't give the entire truth up front, etc... etc... Sorry about being a little suspicious but you get that way after running a shop for a few years. Things are almost never what they seem to be and almost no one tells you everything up front when their bow "blows up". I watched a person draw back his bow with his release and didn't put an arrow in it. I say him, with my own eyes, move the finger and press the trigger. He swore up and down that he didn't but I watched him do it. Guess what his bow did?
In the last two weeksI have ordered and replacedlimbs for two Martins, two Bowtechs, one Mathews, one Browning and replaced a set of cams on a Bowtech Tomkat after a dry fire that Bowtech didn't even charge the customer for. They all have limb failures but this one is especially "fishy".
