Tracks buddy tracks. Learn to read them is your best source for finding deer. When I say learn to read them, I mean be able to tell the difference from deer that just walked by to the ones that came in the morning, last night last week.... I won't hunt land that doesn't have tracks everyday. Why should I waste my time sitting watching squirrels? If you need a lesson, go to your local park everyday for a week. Walk the same area you see deer and you will get the hang of it. Trust me (even though you've never reada single post on deer hunting from me) you will be able to virgin hunt anywhere and score a deer. Of course that is providing there are deer in the woods your hunting.
