Get online today and buy preference pts in WY for deer and antelope, $40 and $30 respectively. That'll put your odds way up for next year in WY.
Though I suspect you'd be able to do a combo hunt next year in either state with an outfitter for the right price, or just a higher draw region....
I'm considering a archery CO mule deer hunt next year, and from what I know it looks like the best units take 2-3pp to draw those units.
Wyoming btw, archery/rifle is the same lotto/drawing, then once drawn you have to buy a special archery license....
