Do you think it was the IR flash that spooked him or could it possibly be that it was making some slight noise? I really don't know. I have never used a Cuddeback so I am just asking.
I use a reconx that ocasionally has a red light come on while taking a picture but I have never seen it spook a deer. And that observation comes from sitting on stand and watching deer react to it before daylight while hunting.
I'm sure its the IR lights Jack, I've seen it happen before with these cudde's. Is yours an IR? A guy just told me that Reconx makes one without the lights.
