I'll be hunting the early season with my longbow.....and if things pan out like they did in '07.....I "might" get a shot at a buck in velvet (I had <20yd shots at 2-3 bucks in velvet in '07).

Not sure what "I'd" do in that situation (with the longbow).....but I don't think velvet means that much, to ME.

Would it mean anything to you (would you lower your pre-determined "standards") to take a buck in velvet?

I'm still torn, I guess.
