Alot of fun, but it can also be alot of work, depending on how much walking is involved!

I've found that those sealed, lead-acid batteries work best for me. They are small enough to carry a spare (these are the kind of 6 volt batts that they sell for deer feeders).

I put a krypton bulb on my headlight and it's a real flame thrower now.

I also found that it's easier to aim (for me) if we trade shots and I have my light off while shooting... in otherwords, I shoot with the light from someone elses headlamp... seems to be less glare and easier to aim while shooting instinctively.

I also like to use a bowfishing rig so you can just reel 'em in like a carp.


Y'all did pretty well with regular tackle though,it looks like!
