Measure it starting at the "top" of one string groove, along the side of the limb (following the contour of the limb), through the center of the riser, along the other limb to the "top" of the other string groove. It should get a string 3-4" shorter than this measurement. Sounds like an old Pearson. Tough bows, but lots of shock.
