I think the detractor from the Xtrema2 was the seemingly very high position of the cantilever mount above the receiver. I don't understand why they needed such a gap above the receiver and because I'm thinking the SBE II barrel fixed into a steel receivershouldbe a more solid platform than the Xtrema2 cantilever, the SBE II is on its way. If you have other opinions on the thought process above, please share.

Without seeing the high speed video of the gun being shot I can't say for sure, but I bet the gap is needed to keep the scope from hitting the receiver. I used to work as a toolmaker in the R&D department of a different gun manufacturer and we made similar mounts for night vision scopes on sniper rifles. I was amazed at how much the mount would flex at the shot, we had trouble keeping theoptics from smacking into the barrel. I'd look into a different mount with a long eye relief scope. Just my opinion.
