It does depend on where you anchor. For some the straight down may be a 30 others a 40. I've practiced it enough I just hold off with the 20. Broadside at two yard from the ground... I just draw and shoot. It's a feel thingy.

My closest was 7 feet... no aiming needed, for me anyway. It's instinct.After the first 30 years or so of bowhunting you'd be surprised at how good you can be just drawing and feeling the tug against you and knowing what the arrow will do. At that point is draw shoot out for some distance. If I did it all the time I'd get rid of the damnpins.
