OK, how many would shoot at 400 yards on a considerably windy day? And I am not talking about those guys who set up on a beanfield with the wind gauges and all that stuff. I am talking about the guy who is stalking and is pretty much only carrying his rifle. If someone thinks they could mathematically and accurately estimate the winds effect on the bullet at such a distance I really would doubt it. You would be taking a big risk NO matter how good a shot you are on paper, or how good your rifle might be.
