I pulled ou thte bow for only the second time this year, dusted off the dust bunnies, did some inspecting, and put some practice tips on my new Epic ST's. Did some serious shooting lastnight. Shot about 100 arrows. No eradic flight at all. Now I just have to get the smaller diameter WB so I can take off the prong rest I threw on. My groups are pretty good at 20-30 yards. I wasnt sure how well they were really going to shoot but they seem to be consistant. I know once I get my new WB my group size will change and become much tighter. I shot about 100 times in the matter of 1 hour or so. I invited my neighbor over to shoot as well as my son. It was a good time. Only problem was my neigbor bent one arrow and lost 2. I watched him draw and everything looks good but his dl is a tad long but once we found out what the problem was it was an easy fix. he was using the wrong pin . Took one pin off and told him to use just his top pin... hit the target everytime after that. He has an old bow,I meen a relic!!, but man is that thing quiet and fast. I was very impressed. ifI remember right its an old Bear. Looks like a traditionaltake down with cams....no let off. This bow is in mint condition for as old as it is. The string I think was replaced as it shows no sign of wear or tear. I waxed it up for him and made sure everything was good togo. His dad bought it quite a few years ago at a garage sale for 35.00 or something like that. But none the less we had a good time shooting but its time for a new target. I have a new bag target coming from a friend who quitr bow hunting and sold all his stuff. Except one stand and the target which he was kind enough to hand down to me for 35.00 for both. . The stand was only used twice and the target was only shot at twice..
