um...I shoot my actual BH into my targets exclusively for a month and a half before the season. I just change blades before opening day and keep one with the dull ones to take a few shots before I go into the woods. Why would you not shoot your actual heads into the target?? I mean all the talk about practicing in your hunting close and in a tree stand, etc... shouldn't you actually shoot your hunting heads?? I have always done it, in fact this the first year I have ever shot fp at a target. 20 yrs of shooting BH until this year. Targets do get expensive, but a few shots with the hunting head here and there is good.
