Wow! Thanks guys. I guess I'll shoot 5 shot groups. I like shooting the rifle anyway. I figure I've been letting the barrel cool for about 5min between shots. Takes me that long to walk out to the target, swab the barrel and reload.

Chap, I think I'm going to try the 3" over method. And thanks for the ballistics chart. I'm going to print it and keep it in my gun case.
SC_Sportsman,

Please see this thread on "How to use a Ballistics Program"

http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=2878035

with 250g GD your BC is .165, not .147 as I reported. Mike facts are better, since he knows, I just googled and could not find on Speer Web site.

Your avg velocity with a 250g projectile with 2 pellets is 1725, so drop those figures into the Ballistics program and play with the sight in range to get 3" high at 100. I just did this for you see below, with these parameters
I used BC .165
250g bullet
135 yard zero
rest default values.
If you sight in 3" high at 100 you will be good out to 160 yards with that bullet and load. Confirm with range tests please, don't take my word for it.
Best Wishes,
Chap
