Well here might be a shocker, but have you thought about Colorado for a whitetail hunt? We have some tremendous whitetail hunting on the eastern plains of Colorado in the river and creek bottoms. These are some big deer, both in body and bone on the head. We are taking bucks scoring up to and over 170" here every year and the buck to doe ratio is excellent, making calling and rattling absolutely insane if you hit it just right. I have a couple of outfitters that are just getting into the whitetail hunting part of the equation and are offering some excellent hunts, both spot and stalk in the CRP fields or stand hunting in the bottoms.
