Default RE: License Fee Increases in Pa

lochorns,

Good point about being able to use a muzzleloader stamp to take a doe anywhere in the state. I always wondered why they weren't required to buy an "area specific" doe tag like the rest of us. I do remember when they were given the choice and they chose to not be included with everyone else on the county specific doe tags in exchange for having that earlier deadline for tags....

I wonder if any of the "legislators" have given this some thought. You may have just found a major loop hole in one of the new proposals.

I do understand what you were referring to before. How can folks complain about "wasting" money on a muzzleloader tag that they may never use at one moment and in the next be stating that they would be willing to be more money for any license.

I can't answer for anyone else on this one....but, personally, I have never purchased a muzzleloader stamp (for my own reasons) so, I have never complained about the early deadline......but, as I stated above, I wouldn't mind paying more for any hunting license provided the money generated by the increase was used directly for providing more areas to hunt for more hunters. (that revised statement would then include public land and the system you mentioned earlier).
