OK I had a guy offer me 300 acres to hunt. After jerking me around for 3 weeks i have up on him letting me on the land.
The guy who's land i hunted last year does not seem like he will let me back out there.
I was ready to say screwed it take my 2000 for hunting stuff my a better truck and get back to it next year.

I deiced why not scout out the public land near by and see what happens.
So i did i found a good spot but it was close to the road, but i found a spot just about 20 yards back off it in the woods.

Well i found another spot good place with a food plot about 1/2 mile in

Well today i went to my spot one. Which i have called the field of dreams. lol ya i know

I went down the road a Little to a long field and walked back in the woods by the creek and headed back to my truck.
I found a place where the deer had walked the grass down to mud from a thick area i think it is a bedding area to the creek then across to the long field.
I think my stand will go up there about five yards due north of the path is a tree which would hold a stand perfectly to give you a shot across the creek across the path at the creek and to the long field.
Also there is a sapling next to the tree that would keep the deer from seeing you until there at broadside right in front of you or there at a quarter and away shot.
