a lot of times, doctors and surgeons will tell you that you NEED surgery, when in all reality, you dont. doctors said that i needed surgery on my shoulder this past fall, but i just gave shooting and baseball a break pretty much all winter, and its back to normal now. thats just one instance, i know a lot of friends and family that have been told that they needed surgery, but elected not to get it, and much better now.
