Default RE: Measuring draw length?

I measure my DL on a draw board. I measure and record it as AMO draw length, simply because it's the only standard that's out there to be consistent from one bow to another. There are a lot of bows that when you measure to the front of the riser, it's not going to be consistent due to riser geometry, etc.

With that said, Ithink it's silly to have an industry standard based on adding that 1.75",but again...........it's the only standard out there so that's whatI use when referring to my DL and when I write specs down in my journals to reference later.

For the record, I'm currently shooting a measured 30 3/8" AMO draw length right now on my hunting bow. For indoors I typically shoot 30 1/2-30 5/8", and for hunting I usually shoot 30" to 30 1/4".
