I have heard the same, but to be honest, unless your bow is set up correctly, consistent flight is never guaranteed. I don't shoot muzzy's but my G5s fly true regardless of how the vanes and blades are aligned. I will admit, certain alignments will get a little better result, but not enough to make me concerned.
