Robin, I have used this method to plan hunts for years and it has served me very well.

So I agree with what you are saying.

During Rut I hunt daylight to dark 90% of the time though regardless of moon, weather, etc. I think several things influence deer movement and it can be a combination of things, but I never overlook the position of the moon
