Fred Bear got me into bowhunting!!

Now I never had the priviledge of meeting him, but I got into archery/bowhunting from reading about his adventures.

Guess I lived a sheltered life as a child, because I already had one buck under my belt before I knew anybody that even owned a bow!

Looking back, archery sure was simpler in those days, before they invented the wheel!
