Default RE: WHO ELSE SAYS A PRAYER?

TR, first of all thank you so much for sharing your testimony. It is amazing to see how God can take tragedies and use them for his glory. It is great the way that he has used you and given you such an opportunity to share your faith in Christ. I have seen God take a few medical scares in my life and use them to further the kingdom. it is such a blessing when you are in such a scary situation, and you see God' s hand on the whole thing, and you are used as a vessel to accomplish God' s plan. There is nothing like seeing one of your best friends accept Christ as his Savior because of God using you to bring him to the point of his need to be saved, even if it takes you almost dying at the age of 26. That is what happened to me, and I wouldn' t trade the scare for the world.
About the post. Yes I do pray. Alot. I spend alot of the time in my stand in prayer. I figure that 20 feet up in the air, I am just a little closer to God!! I have had some beautiful prayer time, and some great time of reflection and rededication to the Lord in my stand. My buddy and I always pray together on opening morning each season before heading off to our stands. we pray for saftey for the upcoming season, for the needs of others we know, to allow us to make good clean shots and good decisions, for granting us the ability and the blessing of being able to hunt. But most of all we thank Him for dying for us, and forgiving us for all the wrong that we have done and will do. And for taking our place on the cross to allow us an eternal life with Him. It is great being a child of the King!!! And great being able to enjoy the great outdoors that he has blessed us with. Thanks for starting tis thread uncle matt, this was a great one.
