Here we have 1 lake that has no size or bag limits on bass ( smallmouths ). While other lakes are pretty much 2 fish limits. You can keep 2 fish between 10 and 12 inches or in which 1 can be kept above 16 inches. ( Largemouths and smallmouths ) You pretty much need a law book with you up here when fishing in different waters. I do not keep bass as a rule unless to give to some older folks that like them. The lake that has no limits the biologists net bass out of to stock other areas as well. It is a rather large lake with rock piles from old boat house as well as from ledges and islands.
