I would definately recommend finding a reputable pro shop that can help you get "fitted" to a bow. Once you know your draw weight, then you want to shoot as many bows as possible and look for the one that feels most natural to YOU.....That's where you start...Then you practice, practice, practice, etc..etc...
This is a good site to get some questions answered, there is a lot of knowledge here. You will find guys that are serious competition shooters, pro shop owners, avid hunters, anyway you get the idea...Good luck and welcome to the site as well as bowhunting....
