I hang mine up in the bedroom, with a sign that says 'Gone Hunting' (was a gift from wife) when ever I take it dow, I just put the sign on the hook and everyone knows where I am at. I have nothing covering it, I just take it down 1 - 2 times a week and wipe it down. No problems, been doing that for about 4 yrs. now.
