Shortening your string 1/2" , will reduce your peak draw weight by a few pounds. If you have the ability to crank up the draw weight, you can conpensate for this. If you are already at the bow' s peak weight, then you will have to use a lighter arrow to keep the same speed. It will require approx. 25 to 30 twists on a single cam (depending on how many twists are already in the string), to reduce the length by 1/2" .

It would be easy enough to try twisting the string first, to see if you like the results. You can always install the other module for comparison if you don' t like it.
