RE: Kill or harvest?
Harvest is fine, kill is ok, took, shot, ...all ok.
It's not the word that's used, but the context and the way in which it is said.
If someone is celebrating a great shot, then no problem.
However if someone is celebrating the actual death or dying, or the way the front shoulder was blasted open, then I do have a problem with that. It's just immaturity.
If the non-hunting public and/or anti's want to portray hunters as bloodthirsty and wonton killers, thenthrowing such portrayals back in their face with a "yeah, so what" attitude is going out of your way to invite their attacks. They're not worth your time.
Just ignore them, and eat your legally gained meat, and be respectful of the animals. That's all there is to it in my opinion.
