sorry to hear that i can feel your pain
i have a 1 yera old ****zo
that a few months ago got attacked by a pit nearly killed
broke his ribs in 15 places
The guy did not care just let the dog loose to run around
the vet told me they would need to put him to sleep but i would not let him go
sad thing is the co that came out to the lake wrote in his report that my 10 pound dog went over to the pit biting at it when it was the other way
he is now running around and almost back to normal
I am sorry for you lost and that is a great pup
a pet is just like a kid

I know this is a bit off topic but I feel I need to tell you guys about my weekend simply because even though I have never met you, I feel akinship with some of you. I've been dying to get out and snap a few caps off. I got some Harvester EZ load sabots 45/40 for my 45 and still have yet to try the 320 REALs I cast.
But I ran into quite a few snags this weekend. Saturday we had to watch the grandkids which was no problem and in fact - a lot of fun. Sunday however was a disaster. Our yellow lab took some kind of stroke - probably from the heat and died in the Vet emergency room. She was a great dog and it happened so fast. The wife and Iwere really broken up about it and she got up crying on Monday and went on line looking. I am sitting here typing this with a 9 week old yellow lab female fast asleep at my feet. The wife is still a bit upset but this pup is doing a great job with easing her pain.
