Well, this year I decided to get out and do my clearing before I knew it was going to rain. My thinking was that with the heavy rains and wind we have been getting may wash away most of the traces that I leave behind. Also, maybe the deer won't think twice about a couple more branches being down ( due to the storm) . I don't usually clear paths until August or sometimes September so hopefully it will bring a little more luck. I guess come October I will see if it pays off.
