I also usually hang my cameras over piles of corn, which are also places I don't hunt.
The reason you stated your deer don't spook has allot to do with having "feed" there for them I think.(JMO) Put cameras up in an area without "feed" and I'm guessing it will happen a little bit more (spooked). Flash or no flash some deer will spook.
