With all due respect.....you could enter in (_______") antlered deer into the scenario to get closer to your personal expectations with yourself.....to make this more "real". Some of you have others to answer to on your leases/properties....and that would DEFINITELY change things (so might the desire toget your kill on film). I have no such restraints.

I've got a deer I'm holding out for (just likely haven't seen him, yet).......but I answered the question, honestly. Killing a deer for the contest would be way down on my list of criteria......but I won't sayit wouldn't be "A" factor in my decision making.

I would never begrudge a man taking any deer if he takes it legally and ethically. I'vealso never killed one that I regretted killing (which, to me, is THE determining factor in whether or not to pull the trigger)....and I hope no one ever does.
